When you click on a link to a document the following dialog box will appear.

Click on the Save Button

The following dialog box will appear.

Select the folder where you want to save the file

Click on the Save button.

Do not change the File name or the Save as what boxes.

The following dialog box will appear.

Click on the open button to open worksheet in Microsoft word.

When you click on a link to a document the following dialog box will appear.

Make sure you select Save File

The following dialog box will appear.

This box shows you the progress of the download of the file

When the download process is complete you have to go to the folder that is set in FireFox to find and open the file.  To find the Folder go to the Tools menu, Click on options and and in the main window you will see a section on downloads which tells you where downloaded files are save to.
