Course Description:
This course will cover the digital camera, its construction, operation, and relationship with computers. In addition to covering digital cameras the course will cover, applications that organize and edit digital photographs, archiving digital materials, using a scanner to digitize photographic materials and use the digital still camera as a video recorder.
This course will be taught using a series of lectures, discussions, demonstrations and projects.

The final grade in this class will be based on the successful completion of all projects, quizzes and a final exam.
The final grade will be based on your accumulated points divided by the total points possible.
A 90% and above
B 80% to 89%
C 70% to 79%
D 60% to 69%
F 59% and below
Projects are graded in two ways, by submission for written work on the D2L system and by visual evaluation of image project.
