In this project we will be looking at the effect that camera resolution has on the
images (pictures) you take. The images you take in this project will be used later
when we work with applications that allow us to change images. For this project
I would like you to do the following.
1. Determine where you change the resolution and quality of the pictures you are
taking.
2. Set up an outdoor shot and do the following;
- Starting with the highest quality setting, take a picture with each one of the resolution
settings, take notes how each picture is taken.
- Change the quality setting to the next lowest and take a picture with each one of
the resolution settings, take notes how each picture is taken.
- If your camera has a third quality setting change to it and take a picture with each
one of the resolution settings, take notes how each picture is taken.
3. Set up an Indoor shot and do the following;
Bring your camera to school and upload the images to the computer. Using Picasa
create a folder named Project 2 and transfer all of the uploaded files for this project
to that folder.
If you want you can upload and copy the images at home and copy the folder you created
to your USB drive and bring it to class. Once you are in class you can copy that
folder to the MY Pictures folder of the class computer.
