My philosophy of teaching begins with clear communication; setting standards for behavior, participation and the explanation of class requirements. I encourage students to share their expectations and personal interests and become engaged with their peers. My teaching methods include class discussions, lectures, interactive demonstrations, assignments, projects, and peer reviews. My goals are to challenge students in their knowledge and use of specific programs; and to empower them to enjoy a life of learning.
