I have been teaching graphic design since 1999 at Elgin Community College. My background is in freelance design, print design, typographic study, digital art, book and calligraphic art.
Over the course of my design career, I have developed a keen interest and love of Typography. My love of letterforms inspired me to learn the art of calligraphy. I am a member of the Chicago Calligraphy Collective guild and have served as the CCC’s Newsletter Editor. I have also designed a digital application for the Chicago Calligraphy Collective. Currently, I own my own business, Journalicious, where I create modern interpretations of medieval manuscripts and engage in the book arts.
