About Your Instructor

I began teaching part-time in ECC's Office Administration Technology Department in the spring of 2000, and became a full-time instructor in the fall of 2000. Subjects taught include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Software Applications for the Office, Office Applications I & II, and Document Production III. My checkered past prior to joining ECC includes three main careers: I was in hotel management, was a partner in a CPA firm, and oversaw the duty free program for a major airline. I was born in Texas and have lived in California, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and Texas for various periods of time. I have also traveled extensively in both Asia and Europe. My passions, after family and teaching, are golf and Jimmy Buffett music, both of which are evident upon a visit to my office.
