UAF1 members are guaranteed at least three credit hours up to a maximum of six hours teaching courses for which they are qualified, if those courses are still available after full-time faculty have selected their base loads plus one overload and UAF2 faculty have selected their loads.

Selections are made based on seniority. For more information on seniority, read the ECCFA contract.

The administration does have the right to approve course loads over the maximum of six hours, but this is at the discretion of the administration. You will be asked if you would like additional load during the scheduling process.
