UAF1 and UAF2 members have $200 through the dean’s office each semester to use toward professional development or expense. To make a claim, fill out the Professional Expense Reimbursement Request Form and submit it to the Dean. This money rolls over from fall to spring, but if not spent by June 30th of each year, it is deposited in the Unit Adjunct Professional Development fund.

See the ECCFA contract for details about the Professional Expense benefit.

UAF2 members also have access to this dedicated Professional Development fund. Individual proposals can be made to the Faculty Development Committee using the Funding for Individual Activity form located on eNet (Dept. Home > Faculty Forms > Faculty Development Forms > Faculty). The maximum amount each year varies, but it has been $2,000 and $3,000 in recent years. (Yes, thousand.)

For more details, see the Faculty Development Handbook.
