Course Delivery Methods
- Traditional
- Face-to-face where the student and instructor meet in the same physical location at a scheduled time
- Includes classes that assign online homework
- Internet
- Delivered through the Internet and accessed when the student has time
- Students complete their assignments and interact with their instructor and classmates via email or online discussion groups
- Computer-Aided Discussion
(not currently offered)
- Combines traditional classroom instruction with online instruction in a computer lab
- Content of the course comes mainly from the computer software and is supplemented by mini-lectures
- Hybrid
- Combine traditional classroom instruction with online instruction
- Students meet on-campus with a teacher and other students for one class session and then meet online the next class session
- Learning Community
- Students enroll in a grouping of two to three classes that are linked around a common theme or fulfill a specific need
- Weekend College
- Offered on Saturdays
- Conducted on the Main Campus in a traditional classroom setting and provides the personal attention of an in-person instructor
