Desire2Learn (D2L) is the online course management system at ECC. If you're new to ECC, you'll need to attend a training session (either in person or online) before you can use this for your course. The training sessions are offered frequently throughout the semester through our Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning.

Designating Classes as "Enhanced"

If you'd like to use D2L for your classes, contact Vicki and request that your class be designated as "enhanced". You should do this as soon as you know your course assignments for a particular semester.

Logging In

To log in to D2L, visit and log in with your accessECC username and password. If you don’t have an Access ECC password or have forgotten it, click on “Forgot Password?” and follow the instructions to “Get / Reset My Password.”

Getting Started

Don't feel like you need to do everything in D2L immediately. Many faculty begin by just posting periodic news items and updating grades, only later branching out to using the digital dropbox, survey tool, or other aspects of the system.
